Ministry Opportunities

Women’s Conferences
In the spring of each year, we present the SYBA Women’s Celebration. This event usually takes place on a Friday beginning at 1:00 p.m. It is an amazing time for all women to come together to worship and learn and grow closer to their precious Savior. We normally have two large group times with inspiring [...]

This ministry pairs SYBA member churches with our local schools. Currently, we have 35 churches paired with 36 area schools. If your church would like to become involved [...]

Fair Ministry
Every September our churches team up to minister to the fair workers at the Iredell County Fair. We provide meals, haircuts, and other services. But most importantly, we share the Good News of the Gospel with each worker. Our member churches provide meals at lunch and supper. And we always need volunteers to witness to the workers [...]

Christmas Toy Store
Every year on Oct.1, Sandra Harrison and her team of volunteers begin working long days. They begin work with little or no money, little or no toys. Somehow, by the time December rolls around, God and His people have given and the Toy Store is filled with toys and parents. December 2010 was the 16th year [...]

Continuing the Journey
The intent of each ministry of the SYBA is to bring folks to salvation through Christ Jesus. Continuing the Journey was created so that new and rededicated believers can come together and learn to to walk in their faith. This discipleship class meets each Monday evening at 6:00 p.m. at the Baptist Center. Children of the class attendees [...]
